Nashville Conference Update #1

“God is gracious enough to allow us to travel to Nashville.”

Just getting down here has been a hassle as our van broke down on Monday 60 miles from Indianapolis. But by God’s grace we were able to find a place to sleep and find a rental to take us down to the conference while our van is being repaired in Lafyette, IN. The room that we reserved didn’t work out but God blessed us with a room in a different place that was even better. Satan was fighting us the whole way down here, and for good reason. This has been the best conference ever attended so far. Let me give you some quotes from the Wednesday Session:

Entertaining God-Doug Small: “The centerpiece of Chistianity is not fellowship, not discipleship, not even singing, but Prayer… Prayer is entertaining God… Jesus’ whole ministry was prayer… By entertaining God, He will reveal unknown secrets to you.”

Will try to hand out more tomorrow, Lord willing. But in the meantime make prayer your number one priority.

First Week of May

Some changes will be under way in my blog soon, so stay posted. Stories will be posted at random times also.

5-1: Went to track practice and ran 3 miles. Also watched The Apprentice.

5-2: Went to Economics Class, which is still the highlight of every week here.

5-3: Good News Club at Metcalfe. This club needs major prayer, as all the kids are behaving badly. This week was the worst.

5-4: Setup Cashflow Club, picked out costumes for weekend party.

5-5: Went to the Milwaukee Public Museum for “St. Peter and the Vatican” 5 Star review coming soon. Also watched Kent Hovind.

5-6: Went to violin class. Today was my “maiden voyage” as my mom called it, as I drove solo today. Also went to a Masquerade Ball. Pictures coming soon.

5-7: Attended Church, notes coming soon. Spent the rest of the day cutting grass for my customers.

End of April

Here is my next post. Stories will be coming soon. If you are wondering about the “Cashflow Club” link, go to www.richdad.com for more information. I would love to see everyone at my meetings. More Rich Dad will be mentioned in upcoming posts as I am working closely with them.

Monday- looking for a new car for our family, might be a Toyota Paseo from a friend. Also viewed the Apprentice.

Tuesday- setting up Cashflow Club, and went to Economics class (5 stars as normal).

Wednesday- Interviewed by the Milwaukee Public Library for a spot in “The Reader”, also went to the DMV and got my picture taken for the license. Did Good News Club at Metcalfe, (good prayer target for the prayer warriors in this world, as this club is inner city with unbehaving children). I also cut some grass for my business.

Thursday- Cut some more grass and went to Quilting class. (Rhyming already ;) )

Friday – Cut even more grass and watched part of Kent Hovind.

Saturday – Went to violin(our group is The Magnificent Performing Strings ). I also listened to tapes by Robert Kiyosaki of www.RichDad.com

Sunday – Went to Church and got a run down on what is happening with Transport For Christ. The catch was that we had to go inside one of their trucks. In the afternoon My entire family played Cashflow 101 the Board Game (also found on www.richdad.com).
