Some business marketing tips by Jeff Mills

January 28, 2007 by Taylor Marek

Jeff Mills, in his blog, has brought some very interesting tips to mind for business owners. Jeff Mills is a former Youth Pastor of 9 years, who is now a full time internet information entrepreneur, book author, speaker, sales coach, and also an avid traveler. He said,

“I learned that a marketing a business is like moving oil through the Alaska Pipeline…
I came up with a fun acronym to help you see the pipeline. I call it TGIF (no. it’s not Thank God it’s Friday, or Thank God I Fish)T + G + I = F

T – is Take Action

G – is Generate Leads

I – is Incessant follow up

F – is Fortune

Let’s break down the formula for each section…..”

If you implement this system, TGIF, you will find that people start coming to you. This is very similar, or even might be a variation of, word of mouth marketing. If you have “Raving Fans” they will gladly tell anyone and everyone about your business, which will wind up with more company sales.
