5 Reasons Why I Blog
February 17, 2007 by Taylor Marek · Leave a Comment
So what I have to do now is answer 5 Reasons why I am blogging (would podcasting count too?) , then I need to pick 5 other bloggers and have them answer and pass on their questions to 5 people each, and so on, and so on…..
1. The most important reason, that’s why its number one, is because I see so many people who don’t know how to control their Finances, run a successful business, or know about new technology. This podcast/blog was created to solve that problem.
2. I blog/podcast because it is easier to get listeners than with traditional media. If you started a newspaper, it would take you a while to build a large base of readers. But podcasting has changed that forever. Right now, you can make a blog, have it syndicated across the world, and have people coming to you from around the world to read your posts.
3. I blog/podcast because I want to reach more people. A local newspaper is just that, local. A blog can be viewed by everybody in the world, and it doesn’t cost anything. The more people you can reach, the better the feedback, the better the content(depends on your blog), and the better the message spreads.
4. I blog because my program, WordPress, allows me the capability to podcast on it also. It is easy and works great. Audio allows communication on another level, one that you can’t get in traditional media that much. Podcasting has created an entirely new type of media, one that people can listen or watch whenever they want, wherever they are. You listen to me when it is best for you. I give you choice and convenience.
5. I blog because I can meet new people and help them out also. I enjoy helping build other peoples lives, watching them succeed in their life from advice we’ve given each other. To me, that is worth more than all the money in this world.
I now tag the following people to pass it on….

For Finances, I talk about how to control your expenses. For Business, I talk about a $250,000 sale in 15 minutes, and for Technology I talk about Intel’s New 80 Core Chipset. The 80 core chip is still in R&D and will not be released to the public, for the near future at least. I also mention an exclusive code for you to use at GoDaddy.com to save 10% on your next order, but you have to listen to find out what it is.
