Most Underused Buzzwords on LinkedIn Profiles

0

I just finished reading ‘LinkedIn Reveal Most Overused Buzzwords By 2011?s Professionals‘ over at SimplyZesty today and it got me thinking…

If the Top 10 buzzwords are used to the point of making the HR recruiters’ eyeballs bleed, and LinkedIn has finally published their thoughts on it, is this something we should seriously look at on our profiles? I think so.

Let’s go beyond that when sprucing up our profiles though. Lets tell the world what we really are and let them judge us for it. They do anyways. Still doesn’t make a difference in landing that job, even after you get it. Your character shows itself anyways.

Top 10 Underused Buzzwords

  1. Lazy
  2. Creative-when-I-have-to-be
  3. Overloaded
  4. Underused
  5. Starting Out
  6. Run of the mill
  7. Problem Maker
  8. Messy
  9. Taciturn
  10. Boring

Now this list was created in jest. Don’t take this seriously, but if you do use these words I am not responsible for the outcome. I’m not a lawyer or doctor. I’m just a guy giving some suggestions.

How are you going to change your profile for the better?
