Need Graphic Work Done?
December 30, 2009 by Taylor Marek · Leave a Comment
I know many of you out there are interested in getting graphics of some kind done for your online presence. From twitter backgrounds and blog templates to podcast logos and ebook covers, the list is endless. There are many graphic designers out there, yet the good ones are even rarer to find. To make this process easier for you, I will reveal who I use for my graphic design.
The banner you see above and the logo used on my podcast are all the result of Podcast Designs. Becky, who does all of the design work, was referred to me by a fellow podcaster for getting a good logo done for my podcast. She blew me away with what she came back with, and I fell in love with it immediately. Not only does she do logo’s, but also ebook covers, website templates, and any other graphics work you need done.
Podcast Designs comes highly recommended by me, so be sure to tell her that I sent you when you need graphics done.
May 2010 be your most prosperous year yet!

Note: This is one of those rare posts where I recommend someone I use on a regular basis for work they have done for me. I am not compensated in any way, other than good will, for recommending Podcast Designs, I am merely sharing a resource that I use and works well for me.

iNET Web Bashing
July 31, 2009 by Taylor Marek · 1 Comment
iNET Web is a website design and development company based in Waukesha, Wisconsin. They are mainly focused in the Milwaukee market, but are also involved on the state (Wisconsin) level as well.
Let this be the first video bashing I ever undertake. You can make a decision of whether you want to get a website designed from them after you’ve watched it, the choice is up to you. I personally will NEVER recommend them for any reason whatsoever.
Here is the link to the video and my personal story: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/1904450
Have you read why iNET Web’s Marketing Fails? I think you’ll be more than surprised.

Wish this was posted on the 19th (hint: birthday), but its being posted now….
I am now 20 and embarking on a new stage of my life, one that I am thoroughly enjoying. The interactions on a daily basis, the variety of daily life, and the fellowship seem to be that much sweeter and more exciting then any other part of my life. If I could sum up how I am feeling right now, I would say the closest to it would be a mix of “Life is good.” and “Life is an adventure, live in the present and let God write the story.”. Unknown to you I am working on some projects behind the scenes, the first of which is called, “TaylorMarek20″. Its kind of a twist on the whole “Web 2.0″ theme, but with my own personal touch. Leave off the “.” in “2.0″ and you get my current age, the name is self explanatory. (Its pronounced, “Taylor Marek Two-Oh” for those wondering)
This is my path into the vlogging and video world. Right now this is coming out as a vlog that I post to, but it could morph into a short video production of whatever I feel like making. I hang around YouTube alot and know some very popular youtubers, so most of the videos might be based off of ideas I learn from watching them. Now whether the website will take on a new look, that’s debatable, but a possibility. I’ve always been interested in making videos, so this might suit me very well.
